Mohammad Arsalan Abid is a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant, specializing in Big Data Engineering. He is also pursuing an MBA in Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing. With a strong background in Information Technology, Mohammad has excelled in various fields, including ServiceNow System Administration, ServiceNow Application Development, and Cybersecurity. Mohammad's passion for computer science started at a young age, and he has since developed a multitude of applications and certifications in various disciplines. He has also created a testing tool to check if a mobile service is active and developed software using BASH and open-source libraries released under the MIT license on GitHub. For his final year project, Mohammad devised an algorithm using TAR, OpenSSL, AES-256-CBC, and other open-source libraries on Linux for lossless encryption, which was later published in an international conference under “Multi-tier Data Encryption Algorithm.” Since joining Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee, Mohammad has gained first-hand experience in the problems faced by people while being trained for System Administration. He has devised ways to overcome these challenges and has self-taught and researched extensively on the topic of Cybersecurity. Mohammad has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with First class distinction and a 9.65 GPA during the last semester with an aggregate of 8.95. He has worked with Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst and Programmer Analyst Trainee, where he worked and trained under the ServiceNow team as a System Administrator and an Application Developer. He was also a Project Leader during his internship, where he automated task assignment. Mohammad's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) from Sathyabama University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Computer Science from the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM).
